We’ve been refining the Stay22 Map experience to better match how your readers actually browse, compare, and book.
The goal is simple: help users go from browsing to booking more easily.
So we focused on making the Map cleaner, faster, and easier to use, especially where users compare options quickly or browse on smaller screens.
One area we focused on was making the Map easier to scan.
The previous experience surfaced a lot of information at once, which could make scanning and comparing feel busier than necessary.
We cleaned up the experience by simplifying Map pins and making hover cards easier to scan, so important details are quicker to spot.
This helps users compare options faster, so they can move from browsing to booking with more confidence.
On mobile, space is limited and attention is even more valuable.
Instead of competing with your content, the Map now stays minimized and lightweight by default.
When users want to explore further, they can tap “Explore on the Map” and switch into a fuller browsing experience.
Now it’s easier to browse listings and compare options in the mobile experience.
These updates weren’t just about how the map looks.
By reducing friction in those moments, we’re seeing higher engagement in optimized placements, with some partners seeing up to 3–4× more engagement.
No content changes required.
Just a sharper experience designed to convert existing traffic more effectively.
